About the Event

The Class

Arvigo® Belly Care Provider Training as taught by Tul'ix Indigenous Arts supports practitioners and seekers to offer anterior bodywork and variations to a wide swathe of clients, including the basic anterior treatment for all stages of pregnancy.

Receiving this beautiful work online supports those who can't travel to awaken this medicine in their bones.  If one chooses to continue onto Practitioner Training in the future, the opportunity to expand into Posterior work and supportive modalities takes this work further.  Please note there are are no discounts offered at Practitioner classes to Belly Work Providers due to the high costs of running in person classes.  In that case, some content will be review, but the majority will be an expansion.

Dates and Times

Our class runs from Friday September 13th 2024 through to Monday September 16th 2024 for four hours daily at the following times:

2 pm to 6 pm EST (USA)

7 pm to 11 pm UK

6 am to 10 am NZT (next day)

Prerequisite

The prerequisite for attendance is Self Care (Level 1) Arvigo Training.  There are multiple options availble to complete prior to attendance on the Calendar page.

Cost

$999 USD. $333 USD deposit required to hold your place and send you the Anatomy & Physiology Portal. Balance due on September 10th.

Please note all payments are non-refundable. All payments are transferable to any future classes with me if you end up not being able to make it.

Commitment, Scheduling and Equipment

Part of this class is giving a daily treatment to a 'client'. The client can be anybody over the age of 16.  Clients can be at all ages and stages of life beyond childhood, of any gender and capacity.

Please have your 'client's available for the third hour of each day for a treatment. One our fourth day please have them available for the second and fourth hours (we will do two treatments that day).

Ideally, you'd have a variety of people to work with, with some at least having a uterus to allow you the experience of finding and supporting uterine position.

Having a massage table is awesome, but not absolutely required. If you don't have a massage table, a mattress or thick duvet on the floor or a wide sofa are a good alternative. Your body mechanics will be impacts so please consider this. Plenty of blankets/massage oil/lotion are also needed.

A complete list of what is required will be sent out upon receipt of your deposit.

This class takes place entirely via Zoom and upon completion you are able to support your community with Arvigo®  Belly Care sessions as taught by Tul'ix Indigenous Arts.

Live attendance is required. If you fall asleep or miss a small aspect of teaching all teaching sections are recorded. No personal share are recorded. I record during sections but no bodyworkers or clients are visible, only myself and the instructions I am giving.

Certification, CEs, Insurance, Scope of Practice and Website Listing

Lisencure is not required for  attendance.   However, it is the individual's responsibility to check requirements for them to practice safely in their region.

A Scope of Practice outlining what can and can't be practiced is required to be signed at the start of the course.

There is no listing fee for you to appear on our website as an Arvigo® Belly Care Provider. You can get set up to do so when you feel confident to practice by emailing office@arvigotherapy.com

Preparatory Materials

The Self Care Portal is provided upon attendance of a Self Care training and contains important information.  The Anatomy and Physiology Portal is provided upon receipt of deposit for this class and completion is required prior to attendance.  Once class begins, students also received a Belly Care Provider Portal to support their learning.
